Use of PaceRibbon
The scope of the tools, user-controlled exports and practical checks before relying on a reference.
Use the tools as an arithmetic reference
PaceRibbon calculates the distance, time, units and settings you enter. It does not provide a training prescription, medical advice, a fitness assessment, a race-result prediction or an adjustment for terrain and weather. Choose inputs according to the task you intend to check.
Review a result before using it
Check the distance, unit labels, target duration and finish row before copying or printing a plan. Printed dimensions depend on the file, print settings, driver and device. Use Actual size or 100% and measure the calibration line on your own printout. A screen preview is not a physical measurement.
Keep control of custom text and files
Use text you are entitled to use in a title or note, and avoid adding unnecessary personal information. You decide whether to create a share link or distribute an exported file. A saved-plan export can contain more information than a numerical share link.
Local storage and availability
The service has no account recovery or cloud-synchronization system. Browser saves may be lost when storage is cleared or unavailable. Keep downloaded records when you need a separate copy. You can restore a PaceRibbon JSON backup through Save on this device. Existing IDs keep their local values, and invalid or over-capacity files leave saved plans unchanged.
