Create a printable marathon or half-marathon pace band with your target time and splits. Download PDF or SVG for A4 or Letter paper.

Start with the plan you want to print

Choose your distance, target time and markers. A four-hour marathon with 5 km markers, halfway and finish produces ten reference points. Check the final row before choosing paper and band dimensions. A title and one short note can help you identify the printout later.

The available band lengths are 180, 200 and 220 mm, with heights of 32 or 42 mm. Both A4 and Letter use landscape orientation and a 10 mm safe margin. When the selected markers do not fit legibly on one strip, the layout creates additional strips and labels their covered distance ranges.

PDF and SVG use the same geometry as the preview. Select Actual size or 100% in your print dialog, turn off browser headers and footers, and measure the calibration line after printing. Screen zoom cannot establish the physical size of the printed band.

    Common questions

Can I make a marathon or half-marathon pace band?

Yes. Select Marathon or Half marathon, enter your finish target and choose your markers. For a two-hour half marathon with 5 km markers and halfway, the six rows are 5 km, 10 km, 10.54875 km, 15 km, 20 km and the 21.0975 km finish.

Should I download PDF, SVG or CSV?

Choose PDF for a print-ready page with embedded fonts. SVG keeps the layout editable as vectors, but its text uses the fonts available in the viewer. CSV contains the split values for a spreadsheet. If a layout spans several pages, SVG downloads as a ZIP containing every page.

What if the band is too small or the text is crowded?

Choose a longer or taller band, or increase the marker interval. Review every preview page before exporting. Print at 100% and measure the 100 mm line; enlarging the browser preview does not change the file dimensions.
